For our Homeschool science art project this week we used a lesson from Deep Space Sparkle.
We’re studying astronomy for JEM’s 6th grade and MJ’s Kindergarten year. This lesson was great for both of them.
This is her second lapbook adventure. The first one was a human body lapbook. She did great on it but got a little to in depth and was a long process. This time she is narrowing her topic and keeping it simple. I was worried she wasn’t going to like the lapbooking method with all the work involved but if we keep it simple it can be a great way to show what she learned.
I’m learning to coupon so I can save lots of money. There are lots of rules and great ways to really save big.
MJ is so hilarious. She put on a puppet show for me after we read “Little Red Riding Hood” and it was so cute.
JEM’s pencil drawing got a blue ribbon and went to the Indiana State Fair. Then at state she got a blue ribbon. The comments for improvement was that she should of used matting in her frame.
