We were leaving and MJ jumps into Ronald’s lap and says take a picture of me.
Homeschool Planning-Starting Early in Hope for a Good Year
The summer is ending soon and I am hoping to start our homeschool year off on time or even early. I need to make up for last year. We had a crazy year of moving. Moved from our house in the beautiful woods to foreclosure and had to move to a rental for 3 months that didn’t work out. Then moved all the way to San Antonio, TX for a 7 month nightmare. To finally moving back to Indiana in April. Had to stay with friends for a month or so to get jobs and find a place to stay. Now we are in a permanent place, at least for a year since we had to get an apartment for now.

New Adventure as a WAHM (Work at Home Mommy)
We’ve been so busy lately that we haven’t had time to post. I am now a WAHM (work at home mommy) and scheduling in time to work has had to be early in the morning when everyone is sleeping. I used to sleep too.
So lately I’ve been very tired. Hoping my body will get used to this 4am schedule change soon. I feel good about being able to help provide some extra income for my family though and it’s not that bad, so far.

Silly Bandz, Animal Shape Bands Craze-What, When, Why,Who? My Kids Too?
My children, starting with my 16 year son (weird), wearing these unusual shaped colored bracelets.
On his arm they don’t look like anything until he took one off and showed me it was a giraffe, a star, a heart his girlfriend gave him (how sweet). Each day goes by and he gets more and of course now that I’m aware and clued into this fad I see them on everyone’s wrists. Some adults too.
JEM, MC, JM, DC and SB have started collecting them too.

A Mock Dog Show-The Fun Match for 4h Dog Project
On Saturday June 12th we attended the 4h Dog Fun Match at the Morgan County fair grounds.
The Amazing Bubble Truck at The Morgan County Public Library
The Amazing Bubble Truck was at the Morgan County Public Library on June 14th. This truck was truly amazing. As we pulled in near the Library there were bubbles everywhere. It was so cool.
The Amazing Bubble Truck was at the library for the Summer Reading Program “Make a Splash Read” kick off event. And what a kick off. Bubbles, kids even adults all in the parking lot having a great time.
JEM had a knack for making huge bubbles. She will even be in the Reporter Times our local newspaper because she kept producing such large interesting bubbles.
She said the trick was to go slow as you pull the strings out of the bubble solution and not to open them too fast, then just let the wind or body movement blow through making the bubble.
After she explained it to the other kids, everyone got the hang of it. They had so much fun making all kinds of interesting bubbles. Even MJ (below) who is only 3, had a few good ones.
AL had the best large bubbles in my opinion. As I was taking a picture they grew and popped all over me.
I got so many wonderful pictures.

MJ and one of our foster kittens from the Morgan County Humane Society.
They are so cute and are called Hemingway’s or polydactyl kittens meaning they have six toes.
